Eiza González continues to show that there are no barriers for Mexican talent, as now actor Henry Cavill, who returns to his role as “Superman”, will star in a new action and espionage film alongside the famous actress.
It was the “Deadline” portal that reported that the British actor and Eiza will join forces for the film The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare that will be directed by Guy Ritchie. The filmmaker has also participated in other works such as Sherlock Holmes (2009) and The Gentlemen (2009).
According to the media, the synopsis is inspired by real events, and will be set in World War II.
The story follows the secret combat plan that was drawn up by General Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming, the latter the well-known writer of the James Bond novels who was also part of intelligence and helped create a clandestine unit against the Nazis.
The script, written by Ritchie and Arash Amel, is based on the book by war correspondent Damien Lewis, which is also called the film.
Who will be Eiza?
Eiza will play a military sniper with a knowledge of espionage, while Cavil will be the leader of the organization.
So far, it is known that Black Bear Entertainment, the production company, is looking for a studio interested in distributing the film, since at first it was speculated that Paramount Pictures would be in charge.
